FAQs

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

We start together with a free 15 min consultation so that I can better understand what you’re looking for, answer any questions you may have, and share a bit about my approach before scheduling a session. It helps me figure out if I have the right skills for you and for you to get a better sense of how I work. If we both agree that it’s a good fit, then we will have an hour-long intake session to further assess what you might need.

where are sessions held?

Sessions are provided virtually via a secure online platform, allowing you to attend from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Rates

Intake Evaluation: $250 (60 min session)

Individual Therapy: $200 (50 min session)

Couples Therapy: $300 (60 min session)

Supervision Consultation: $200 (50 min session)

Parenting Support: $200 (5o min session)

ACCEPTED PAYMENTS

I do not accept insurance. I accept payment via credit card, health savings account, and flexible savings account at the end of each session.

OUT OF NETWORK BILLING

At the end of each session, I take payment up front and can provide you with an invoice that includes all of the details insurance providers require for reimbursement. If you are unsure of your out-of-network benefits, ask your insurance provider the following question:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?

  • How much money is reimbursed per therapy session?

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
